Aging changes your body, and years of use takes its toll. Things that you found easy in the past become harder – range of movement, balance and strength all suffer. This can limit your abilities and in some cases make you second guess yourself. The good news is that you can turn back the clock. Injuries and pain:
The older the client, the more likely it is that they have pain or injuries. If you have pain or injuries, we want you to know that we take this seriously. The most important thing to us is making sure that what we do, doesn’t make things worse. We accomplish this by taking a slow and steady approach, working with your abilities and looking for incremental improvement. Our bespoke exercise plans take into account any and all past or current injuries. We also like to work closely with your physiotherapist or doctor as needed.
When training older adults, the focus is improving quality of life by increasing fitness, strength, balance and flexibility.
